School-Based Mental Health Services

Muckleshoot Tribal School is pleased to announce that we are now offering mental health services here at the school! This new program is being offered in addition to the existing collaboration with the Family and Youth Behavioral Health Program.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome aboard Peter Simkins Sluk as our new Muckleshoot Tribal School Project Coordinator/Mental Health Therapist who will oversee the MTS Substance and Mental Health Services/ Native Connections Grant. Peter will provide individual child and adolescent therapy, parent guidance/support, educational counseling, and provide intensive clinical case management.

Currently appointments are available Monday – Friday 7:15am – 3:00pm. The MH Clinic is open year-round, including during school breaks and over the summer. We are only closed during official Tribal Holidays. We strive to reduce barriers to receiving mental health services and will work with you and your family to make appointments work for as many people as possible.Call Peter at (253) 931-6709 x3748 to schedule an appointment.
